Abstract :
The research for the smart factory is actively in progress. Smart factory is based on the automation and optimization through the convergence of ICT and manufacturing. However, the field of study is focused on IoT (Internet of Things) and CPS (Cyber Physical System). Therefore, study to optimize the current process is not enough. Different PLC are used in current industrial applications operating on different platforms. Therefore, special software and engineers is dependent on the PLC platform is necessarily required. In addition, work to connect the equipment information of PLC and HMI is a task that requires a lot of time and effort in the Process Life - Cycle (Design-Simulation-Operation-Maintenance). If the monitoring and control equipment number is small, then the study is no particular importance. But in the case of automated processes, the number is very large. Also Different PLCs are used in current industrial applications operating on different platforms. Therefore, special software and engineers is dependent on the PLC platform is necessarily required. But in the Industrial field. The engineers who use specific software connect HMI by empirical methods. As such, a number of errors occur and the energy is wasted. In this paper, in order to solve compatibility issues, we propose a way to modularized the information in heterogeneous PLCs to generate HMI knowledge.
