Abstract :
The study investigates the implication of Islamic work ethics (IWE) towards the organizational commitment and the moderating impact of job involvement. IWE is analogous to the concept of Islam that emphasizes cooperation in work, and consultation is seen as a way of overcoming obstacles and avoiding mistakes to meet one´s needs and establish equilibrium in one´s individual and social life. IWE is examined on how far the employees practicing what they have claims to be for the organization The result will determine impact of the implementation of Islamic work ethic and the employee commitment towards the organization. Other than that it will determine the understanding of the Islamic work ethics from the employee perspective. This research will help the management to determine the understanding of the employee towards Islamic work ethics and to measure the element in Islamic work ethics that lead to the organizational commitment.
