            Abstract : 
VR system can enormously enhance the simulation effect, when applying numerical prototype(NP) technology in developing processes of TBMs. In the article, hardware architecture and function modules of a VR system for TBM motion simulation were discussed; working process of main simulation module of assortative program was proposed. According to the practical working condition, motion analysis of TBM erector was carried out, and motion model was founded. Some work of scene graph constructing, module converting and OpenGL-performer-based program composing were introduced. Finally, a certain TBM motion simulation program was developed.
