Abstract
In this paper we have applied TLM methods to the analysis of the effects of the slot with the structure of overlapping and riveting on the shielding effectiveness of shielding body. And we have verified its correctness from the algorithm and experiment. According to the simulation results, it is showed that handling the slot with a riveting and overlapping structure helps to suppress the leakage of internal radiation from the cavity. We have provided a basis for the modeling of the valve halls in HVDC to calculate its shielding effectiveness.
