Abstract :
In this paper, the new structure of a position sensorless torque control system for a PMSM in the overmodulation range of an inverter is proposed. The proposed system composed of (1) conventional torque and current controllers, (2) harmonic currents estimator and (3) position/speed estimator. With the proposed system, torque of a PMSM can he stahly control even in the overmodulation range and position sensorless control condition as confirmed by the experimental results.
