Abstract :
The novel design of open-slot broadband antenna with dual band-reject characteristics have been proposed. And the proposed antenna has a small size of 24 times 35 mm2. Firstly, the broadband antenna has a large bandwidth of 95.5% was designed. By etching two slits of different length on the ground plane to reject the two dispensable bands for WiMAX applications. The tri-band design has been obtained and presented. The proposed antenna with an advantage of small size, simple structure and smooth antenna gain. The proposed antenna could be attractived for WiMAX applications.
