Abstract
Presents a novel passive optical network, that takes advantage of the large bandwidth in single mode optical fibers. By combining the coherence property of short coherence length optical sources and properties of code families, we can multiplex different optical signals on to a single space channel. We can thereby achieve synchronous or asynchronous communication access among many users
