Abstract :
The paper researched on the relationship between Maritime industry and regional economy in Liaoning Province. Firstly, the current Maritime industry and the regional economy development status in Liaoning Province should be summarized and commented on. Thereafter, according to the Granger causal test, selecting the number of shipping cargo, GDP, the number of employment at the end of every year and the total tax revenue of Liaoning Province as the indexes in order to test the Granger causality between shipping service and the three significant variables of social economic development. Then, establish the econometric model according to the result of Granger causality test, depicting the level of the shipping service and social economic relations, thus systematically analyzing the impact on the social economic relations imposed by the shipping service in Liaoning Province. Above all, constructive suggestions upon the shipping service and related industry can be put forward.
