Abstract :
A passive detector for underwater swimmer, i.e. diver, is proposed in this paper. First we extract two features of diver´s signal from the experimental data recorded in tank. Then, a multiband matched filter (MF) technique is presented. Moreover, in order to increase the robustness of the MF detector in strong interference, an interference cancellation technique based on the second diver breathing feature using autoregressive (AR) method is applied. The experimental results verify its performance
