Abstract :
Although many organizations encourage people to adopt animals, adoption rate of the strays is only 3.8% in Taiwan. The result cause government spends more money on euthanasia every year. Therefore, we propose a monitoring algorithm to have the strays live in a good environment and healthcare so that increase adoption rate. The study is based on IoT (Internet of things). RFID (Radio frequency identification) is used to identify the strays and Arduino are used to build WSN (Wireless Sensor Network). In the end, we analyze data via algorithm, return information to managers, and provide decision assistance in case of emergency.
