ECCE 2014 Poised to Set New Benchmarks: Pittsburgh Hosts the Sixth Annual Conference

The 2013 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) set a new attendance record with more than 1,300 participants from around the globe, delivering innovative energy conversion solutions to the largest audience in its history. Ayman EL-Rafaie, general chair for ECCE 2014, is looking forward to the challenge of breaking the attendance record again in 2014. As it is, the number of digests submitted to ECCE 2014 has already exceeded the number of digests submitted for ECCE 2013 by 100, from 1,303 digests to well over 1,400 digests. ECCE 2014 will be held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 14-18 September. With continued growth in attendance, industry participation, and exhibitor sponsorship, the conference organizers are working diligently to plan the conference.
