Abstract :
In this paper, an alternative DPA topology, that eliminates the sustaining saturation of the carrier amplifier of the classical configuration, has been described, implemented and measured. The efficiency range of this amplifier reaches 10 dB with an average drain efficiency of 43% and PAE of 17%. The latter value is low due to the gain drop introduced by the power divider.
