Abstract :
Precise spatial and temporal synchronization of a terawatt laser pulse with a sub-picosecond electron beam is the key requirement for stable inverse Compton femtosecond X-ray generation. We report on the stabilization of a 100Hz, terawatt Ti:sapphire laser; especially on mode-locking stabilization, thermal distortion measurement and single shot jitter measurement.
