Abstract :
An efficient wireless/battery less motor and rectenna clock have been designed. Methods for improving the conversion efficiency of the rectenna system were successfully employed using impedance matching methods such as insert feeding of a rectangular microstrip patch antenna, also incorporating practical load impedances and designing the impedance match network to cater for such loads. Emerging applications in orthopedics and many house appliances prove potentials of the work.
