  • Abstract
The influence of fiber nonlinearity on the relative intensity noise (RIN) spectrum at the fiber output considering only the noise originated in the laser source and its impact on system performance, was previously achieved theoretically and numerically. Also, the influence of fiber nonlinearity on the RIN spectrum at the fiber output considering both laser and booster noises was investigated theoretically and experimentally. However, only the Langevin noise sources associated with the spontaneous emission noise has been considered in the laser noise contribution. In the work, the impact of the laser and booster noises on system performance is presented and discussed, considering all Langevin noise sources.
