Abstract :
Power dividers are frequently used in microwave and mm-wave circuits, such as in the feeding network of antenna arrays. In the past years, various dual-band power dividers have been reported. In [S. Srisathit et al., 2003], a power divider topology was introduced but it has a major drawback of low output return loss and port isolation of around - 12 dB (10% relative bandwidth). A modified circuit was also proposed, by including a lumped inductor and capacitor. Recently, a few other designs have then recommended the addition of extra shunt stubs. In this paper, a compact dual-band power divider topology is presented. It offers improved RF performance without the need of additional lumped inductor/capacitor or shunt stubs.
