Abstract :
Isolation characteristics of a dual-band Wilkinson microstrip power divider have been analyzed and discussed. The design equations for the two isolation resistors are derived from transmission line theory. With the equations in this paper, one can obtain the best values of the two isolation resistors to satisfy the isolation requirements at two arbitrary frequencies f1and f2 very quickly. The equations are verified by the simulation and experiments.
