Abstract :
For getting larger start thrust, meeting high reliability of high-voltage circuit breaker of breaking capacity and mechanical performance, this paper introduces Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm in the optimization design of Cylinder Linear Induction Motor(C-LIM) used in circuit breaker operating mechanism. According to the specific character of the optimization design of the motor, Neighborhood Topology Particle Swarm Optimization (NTPSO) is presented in C-LIM global optimization; meanwhile, the software of C-LIM global optimization design with java language is developed. The optimization results show that start thrust is increased greatly and start current is reduced greatly. Through the optimization design of NTPSO algorithm, the weight of C-LIM is lessened and the material of C-LIM is reduced. Consequently, NTPSO algorithm superiority is proved. Considering the actual condition of project optimization design, NTPSO algorithm enhances and improves reliability and practicability of C-LIM operating mechanism.
