Abstract :
In this paper, a novel planar SIW magic Tee is proposed. Compared with traditional rectangle magic Tee, the new design lays down the E arm to one side and makes it possible to compact the magic Tee. In the meanwhile, by introducing balun in E arm, the SIW magic Tee maintains the balance excitation of E Tee and the isolation between E arm and H arm. In order to measure the S parameter of this magic Tee, special waveguide-coaxial converter is designed and implemented. The measured result shows the good performance of the SIW magic Tee.
