Abstract
This paper presents a new design of an observer based controller directly in the frequency domain for singular systems without recourse to time domain. The controller is obtained into two steps: first, the determination of the state feedback gain and then the use of an observer in order to reconstruct this control law. The used observer is of full order one, and the polynomials matrices that defines the observer-based controller to be designed in the frequency domain, are determined from two polynomial matrices that parameterizes the state feedback and the used observer in the frequency domain. The correspondence between time and frequency domain is also given.
