Abstract :
This paper presents a novel error concealment algorithm for H.264/AVC, which is constructed according to the spatial relationship of motion vectors between corrupted macroblocks and neighboring received macroblocks. We model the motion field such that the lost pixel is a function of all MVs of the neighboring MVs. We compare our method against a state-of-the-art method, and we improve the error concealment performance by up to 1.43 dB.
