Abstract :
A novel 3 GHz lowpass filter using defected ground structure (DGS) and multiplayer-technique is presented in this paper. The equivalent circuit parameters are extracted by using a simple circuit analysis method. Finally, the low-pass filter are designed and measured. The experimental results show good agreement with theoretical results and demonstrate that compact size, excellent stopband performance could be obtained through the proposed low-pass filter.
