Abstract :
In order to heat and dry thin material in multimode cavity resonator, circular polarizing patch array to generate surface wave is developed. The patch array is valid to make the electric field distribution uniform inside the cavity. The heating and drying material is set and moved on the surface of the patch array substrate. The high electric field by surface wave on the patch makes the low loss thin material heated effectively. By optimizing the shape and the arrangement of patch, uniform and strong electric field can be generated and the heating pattern of thin material becomes uniform at the frequency of 2.45 GHz.
