Abstract
The present work reports the results of laboratory measurements of the real part of dielectric permittivity epsiv´ and dielectric loss tangent tg(delta) of sandy and clayey soils as a function of soil moisture (X) uniformly distributed throughout the volume and of electromagnetic field frequency. Also, the theoretical research of the dependence the reflected signal shape on the humidity profile was realized
