Abstract :
High precision and low cost phased source is desired for the phased array antennas with high performance of beam control ability. The principle of the DDS-PLL phased source is introduced, and a C-band DDS-PLL phased source is developed in this paper. The DDS-PLL phased source has high phase precision for the digital architecture of DDS, which also eliminates the effects of component aging and temperature drift. A multi-channel DDS-PLL phased source array for phased array antennas will be developed in the future.
