Abstract :
This paper proposed a novel training pattern design algorithm for canceling multi-access interference (MAI) in the orthogonal frequency division multi-access (OFDM) system. This proposed algorithm firstly analyzed the MAI induce performance distortion in the carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation using signal to interference ratio (SIR), then present a novel training sequence design algorithm to improve the SIR and CFO estimation performance. The numeric results show that the performance of CFO estimation for multi user or multi-access in the frequency selective fading channel based on OFDM uplink may decrease the inter-carrier interference ICI as well as single user case.
