Abstract :
This paper presents a master control unit (MCU). The main idea of the MCU is to reduce the impact of wind energy on the system. Therefore, a power schedule to reduce the fluctuating impact on the system is developed. The power schedule is developed in accordance to the German industries. The power schedule uses less energy the wind offers which makes it possible to reduce the stochastic nature of the wind energy. It is obvious that a well-organised procedure for reducing the infeed power into the high-voltage system is required. In order to minimize the impact of the power quality, the regulating power and the bottleneck the TSO must react in an appropriate way.
