Abstract :
The aim of this study was to compare calculated and measured electric fields of transmission lines and to consider possible reasons for differences. The calculation was carried out analytically. The fields were also measured, and these results were used to analyze the problems in calculations. The line voltages and structures were received from the owner of the line. The problems in calculation were caused by uncertainties in line and ground height and by vegetation damping the field
