Abstract
Modulation identification is becoming more and more important for an efficient use of radio spectrum in cognitive radio. In this paper, a block length estimation methods are presented for the modulation identification of block orthogonal modulations. Cyclic moments of signal power are employed to pick up cycle frequencies, which present the block length. Simulation results show that the block length is well estimated for up to 8 dimensional modulations with the guard interval.
