  • Abstract
    Description of experimental facilities for measurements of attenuation and phase shift in water-drop formation is presented. The experimental technique is based on multifrequency wideband measurements with synthesis of signal of spatial distribution of reflection along longitudinal axis and traditional scheme of transmission coefficient measurements. The multifrequency measurements and synthesis have been done in realtime. The apparatus consists of modules of scalar reflectometer of series P2-68 (R2). The desired information is extracted from the amplitude and position of the peak of reflection from metal plate fixed beyond the zone of water-drop structure and spatial transformation of transmission coefficient as function of frequency. Some results of experimental investigation of physical model of water-drop medium are presented
