Abstract
A patch antenna supported by a dielectric resonator is studied. This small antenna operates at the center frequency of 1.265 GHz with an impedance bandwidth of 2.2% (10-dB bandwidth). It offers a maximum gain of 3 dBi and the measured radiation pattern is stable across the operating frequencies. Both simulated and measured results are presented and compared.
