Abstract :
A novel process-invariant voltage sensor used in passive UHF RFID transponder has been presented in this work. The process-invariant characteristic is due to the deployment of an insensitive bandgap reference and its superb characteristics have been demonstrated. By adjusting the component values of the resistor divider, different threshold voltages can be defined. For demonstrating the superior performance of the proposed voltage sensor, its threshold voltage variations due to process corners and charging-up times have been illustrated and its low current consumption has also been shown.
