Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a fragile watermarking scheme to authenticate and recover images. The distinguished feature of our method is that the watermark embedding strategy is different for smooth and non-smooth blocks. Specifically, we allocate more space to embed recovery information for non-smooth blocks and less space for smooth blocks. The experimental results show that our scheme performs well on authentication accuracy and precision. In addition, the tampered watermarked image can be recovered fine as well.
