Abstract :
In the present work we study the luminescence in a paste prepared from 1 μm Al2O3 polishing powder and a methanol solution of the rhodamine 6G laser dye. This artificial solid-state material can be a good prototype for plastic and other solid-state laser compounds containing emitting and scattering impurity centers
