Abstract
To design and build a wind farm, not only must the the wind speed be considered, but also the risks derived from the lightning activity and the generator high, mainly the blades. In this paper we establish an expression to estimate the risk on this type of installation, and its application to three wind farm placed in Navarra (Spain), depends on Ng values, lightning current distribution (kA), attraction radius and the geometric structure of the installations
