Abstract :
Novel miniaturized filters and diplexer using microstrip ring resonator with parallel-coupled feed have been designed, fabricated and tested. The size of the proposed diplexer was 20.70 mm x 10.80 mm. The simulated and experimental results have been presented to validate the argument. Good agreement between simulated and measured results is presented. The filter/diplexer is relatively easy to manufacture and is very suitable for wireless broadband communication systems where the size and weight reduction are important.
