Abstract :
In this paper, a novel UWB bandpass filter (BPF) is developed by using a microstrip stub- loaded dual-mode ring resonator and a parallel-coupled step-impedance two-mode resonator. The advantageous features of both the stub-loaded dual-mode ring resonator and the step- impedance two-mode resonator are fully exploited, and a compact UWB filter with sharp attenuations and wide stopbands is realized, which satisfies well Japan´s UWB low-band limit.
