Abstract :
Designing electronic products that meet modern EMC requirements without iterative test and redesign is not easy. EMC success requires knowledge of the standards for your market, electromagnetic interference (EMI) phenomenon theory, EMI mitigation techniques, and EMC test methods. This paper describes a process developed by one company that has made first pass EMC success a reality by integrating EMC design into all phases of its product development process. The reader will learn the important elements of an in-house EMC program that makes it possible to get products out of the EMC laboratory and into the market on time
