Abstract :
This paper outlines the basis on which we have established "WUNgrid" a ground-breaking international, interdisciplinary, institutionally supported grid based on the SRB software developed by UCSD. It addresses the strategy underlying is creation, the architecture and framework of WUNgrid, its management and operation, provides details of the demonstrators developed and outlines plans for future development.
