Abstract :
The direct time-domain analysis of two identical coupled wires located horizontally above a half-space is performed in the paper. The first wire is driven by the time-dependent voltage generator at its center, while the other one is the parasitic antenna. Exploiting the symmetric and antisymmetric arrangement the original geometry of two coupled wires is considered as a single wire in two different modes. Each mode is treated with corresponding space-time integral equation. The influence of a dissipative half-space is taken into account via the space-time reflection coefficient appearing within integral equations kernels. The space-time Hallen type integral equations are solved by the finite element/marching-on-in-time procedure. The transient current along the excited and the parasitic wire is calculated for the case of a dielectric half-space
