Abstract
An adaptive antenna can suppress the adverse effect of multi-path delayed coherent signals and interferences by steering beams toward intended direction and s the other undesired directions so that it can achieve high communication quality. This paper considers the MUSIC (multiple signal classification) method, for adaptive antenna signal processing. MUSIC is a kind of DOA (direction of arrival) estimation algorithm, based on eigenvector decomposition, which is also described as being based on the spatial structure method. Variants of this method, such as the spectral MUSIC algorithm and constrained MUSIC algorithm are also detailed.
