Abstract :
A relay enhanced none-hexagon cellular concept is proposed in this paper. Two frequency reuse schemes used in the proposed system are also introduced. Performances of the proposed frequency reuse schemes are evaluated and compared with the conventional sectored cell frequency reuse schemes. Results show that the schemes proposed in this paper increased the system throughput and the frequency efficiency. The link quality can satisfy the requirement of 5% outage probability. Further more, the transmission power needed by MS is also decreased, which means the longer the MS can work. The two schemes can be easily implemented with the help of relay technology in the none-hexagon cellular system.
