Abstract
In this paper, a new guiding light model uses wavelength in visible range λ= 633nm is proposed based on surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs). The model is a rectangular parallelepiped with twisting I-shaped gap along its symmetric axis. In an effort to achieve plasmonic surfaces, gold (Au) ε1/ε0= -13.08- j1.08 is employed for the rectangular parallelepiped while twisting I-shaped gap contains vacuum. When an incident plane wave is illuminated to structure, by varying the length of waveguide structure, the direction of electric vector as well as magnetic vector at output is rotated perpendicular to its initial state. Moreover, light can also be localized into a very narrow region with significant intensity.
