Abstract :
According to specifications related to WIMAX (IEEE802.16d TDD) and WCDMA, interference scenarios are analyzed by computer simulation between macro WCDMA and macro WIMAX in the same geographic area. Frequency interference analysis method is introduced in this paper. At last, simulation results of WCDMA system capacity loss and WIMAX system performance degradation impacted by inter- system interference are given. Possible engineering solutions are also explained at last.
