Abstract :
High Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) is a central obstacle to MC-CDMA system. Selected Mapping (SLM) is an effective method to reduce PAPR of MC-CDMA signal. In SLM the most direct infection of PAPR is what sequence is used as the phase sequence. A new Pseudo Random Interferometry code is proposed as the phase sequence for SLM to reduce PAPR of MC- CDMA in this paper, and the simulations of PAPR performance and BER performance are given. The investigation results show that the proposed sequence is more effective for PAPR reduction in MC-CDMA system compared with Walsh-Hadamard sequence and Golay sequence. By the proposed sequence, MC- CDMA system has preferable performance as the simulation of BER performance curve of MC-CDMA showed.
