Abstract :
This paper divided China into three sub-regions to study the corn production. After built yield and acreage model of corn with Nerlove Model, this paper analyzed the factors which affected corn´s yield and planting areas in different sub-regions. At the last section, calculated the elasticities of yield and planting area in sub-regions for the short run and the long run. The result indicates that farmers have an improving ability of area adjustment and strengthening sensitiveness to price policies.
