            Abstract : 
This paper presents an original approach for nonlinear Volterra filter identification. We propose here to use a restricted class of input sequence to excite few terms of the Volterra filter, which must satisfy a set of physical constraints. Expressions have been developed to evaluate the accurate number of excited terms of the Volterra filter
