Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a novel and simple design method using a single-layer square microstrip antenna to achieve single-feed dual-band CP operation. The proposed antenna is formed by inserting two pairs of narrow slots parallel to the edges of the square patch, with two protruding slots perpendicular to one of the edges of the square patch. Details of the proposed antenna design are described, and we design and implement the dual-band CP antenna for CNSS dual-band applications. Simulation and measurement results are presented and discussed.
