Abstract :
There are many methods for miniaturization and broadband of antennas. Popular methods are using high permittivity substrate, air gap, via hole and so on. But the return loss, bandwidth, impedance and gain of antenna become worse by using high permittivity substrate because efficiency of antenna is decreased. So in this paper, it is suggested of using magneto-dielectric material in antenna design for miniaturization. Magneto-dielectric material is one kind of dielectric material whose value of permeability can be varied easily. Comparison design of using magnetic substrate and magneto-dielectric material is proposed. It is also used with air gap for broadband together.
