Abstract
This paper presents a fully integrated transmitter front-end for 60 GHz wireless communication, produced in 0.25 mum SiGe:C BiCMOS technology. The transmitter features a mixer, a phase-locked loop (PLL), a preamplifier, an image-rejection filter and a power amplifier (PA). The measured single-ended 1dB compression point at the output is 10.5 dBm and the saturated power is 14.9 dBm. Error free data transmission with a QPSK OFDM signal and data rate of 360 Mbit/s over 5 m was demonstrated.
